If a DC resident is OVER 21 years old, they are subject to the following laws:

Possess 2 ounces of marijuana.
Possess more than 2 ounces of marijuana.
Smoke marijuana and consume edibles in your private residence.
Consume marijuana in your car, a public space, anywhere to which the public is invited, or on someone else’s private property without their consent (i.e., apartment complexes, restaurants, or private clubs).
Transfer 1 ounce or less of marijuana to another person of legal age (21 and up) as long as no money, goods, or services are exchanged.
Sell any amount of marijuana, including acceptance of donations.
Grow within primary residence up to six marijuana plants, no more than three of which can be mature.
Grow marijuana in excess of six plants. Grow marijuana outdoors or on public property.
Additionally, you can now use or sell drug paraphernalia for the use, growing, or processing of marijuana or cannabis.
