5:30 pm-6:30 pm National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week (NDAFW) event with preteens at Boys and Girls Club (Clubhouse #14, Benning Road). Wards 7 and 8 DC Prevention Center staff will give facts and information about National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Drug Facts Week along with the NIDA Drug fact quiz and fun activities

Wednesday, January 23rd
6 pm – 8 pm: NDAFW event with parents and other caregivers at Atonement Church, 5073 East Capitol Street, SE. Wards 7 and 8 DC Prevention Center focuses on underage drinking and marijuana use and on how to talk to your youth about alcohol and drugs. NIDA’s Drug Facts Week information along with the NIDA Drug Fact quiz will be used to stimulate conversation. .

Thursday, January 24th
3:30 pm-5:30 pm. Game Day: KNOW THE FACTS at Teen Center, LAYC, 1419 Columbia Road, NW. Test your knowledge about drugs with the Wards 1 and 2 DC Prevention Center! Activities include: Photo Booth, Bingo, and Chat Online with Scientists

2:30 pm-4 pm: NDAFW event with students at Job Corp 1 DC Village Ln SW Washington, DC 20032. Wards 7 and 8 DC Prevention Center staff will give facts and information about NIDA’s Drug Facts Week along with the NIDA Drug fact quiz and fun activities

4:30 pm-6 pm. NDAFW event with youth at Ridge Road Recreation Center (830 Ridge Rd SE, Washington, DC 20019). Wards 7 and 8 DC Prevention Center staff will give facts and information about NIDA’s Drug Facts Week along with the NIDA Drug fact quiz and fun activities.
